Bugs Unit
Children are naturally curious and interested in tiny creatures that creep and crawl. In this unit, your learner will explore the different kinds of bugs and classify them by name, then take time to discover the intricacies and wonders of the honeybee, butterfly, dragonfly and spider.
 
This theme based unit is for children ages 5-7. We've included 4 lessons to work through at your own pace, in your own timing. In addition, each lesson includes an "Expand It!" page with 2-4 corresponding activities to further your learner's experience. The material is simply laid out for you, including materials you'll need, how to do each activity, and additional ways to experience the subject. Each lesson incorporates multiple learning subjects to maximize your time and teaching efforts, while giving your learner a hands-on, heart-centered experience.
