Teaching children about Indigenous Peoples is not only an opportunity to teach honest history and dismantle false narratives, but it is also an opportunity to celebrate and honor cultures and traditions of Native Nations, make connections to the land we live on, and grow our appreciation for all Indigenous people and their ancestors as we pave a path forward for healing and change. We hope that this printable invites brave conversations and sparks an eagerness to learn about those who came before us. May we continue to center Indigenous voices, uplift their stories, and commit to teaching children about Indigenous Peoples all throughout the year.
