Space Unit
When we step outside our world and look out into space, we are able to appreciate all the wonders of our universe. In this unit, your learner will pretend to be an astronaut and explore the fascinating details of our solar system including the planets, moon, and stars.
This theme based unit is for children ages 5-7. We've included 4 lessons to work through at your own pace, in your own timing. In addition, each lesson includes an "Expand It!" page with 2-4 corresponding activities to further your learner's experience. The material is simply laid out for you, including materials you'll need, how to do each activity, and additional ways to experience the subject. Each lesson incorporates multiple learning subjects to maximize your time and teaching efforts, while giving your learner a hands-on, heart-centered experience.

- Planets (solar system, ordinal numbering, facts about our planets, marbled art, 3D solar system)
- Moon (moon phases, craters, orbit)
- Stars (constellations, geoboard constellation formation, stargazing)
